SMA Wardrobes Ltd. is a family owned and run business. For over five years it has sold and installed wardrobes & bedroom furniture direct to the public. This was set up to be a ‘lifestyle’ business; we didn’t want to do commuting or hassle any more. To a large extent this worked, the sales, the work, the public and the money all worked very well. However, we had lots of supplier issues. These we have now all but been eliminated by becoming manufacturers. Our mouldings and many of our extrusions are made exclusively for us to our designs. Having been forced into doing all this work to ensure a quality supply chain for our business, it is silly not to now pass these benefits on to others as a franchise. You can now have a hassle free business that generates about £40k profit for a reasonable amount of work and limited risk.
The work
If you are a trade or reasonable DIYer who is averagely fit, who can drive & lift up a door and are of reputable appearance you will have little problem in doing this work. It is nice work & you will enjoy your day; your customer will be thrilled.
The reward
We will help but you will find your own customers. You will quote them, survey and install their furniture. You will not have to chase money. You will not have to run premises or machinery. Your income will of course depend on how well you work and how lucky you are – I find the harder I work the luckier I am !! If you are any good and do 100 a year you should make £25k. If you do more you make more. We do a lot more.
The money
It is possible to buy other people’s doors off the internet a bit cheaper – however you will be obliged to buy all your stock and materials through us so you don’t have the supplier problems which spoilt our ‘life style’ initially. You will pay an incoming fee of £15k, receive equipment, training and start up help. You will pay a reasonable quarterly management fee (£500). You will have an exclusive area of sufficient size to do as well as you want.
